This 16 hour course covers the first aid procedures to be conducted in a wilderness setting (more than a half hour away from advanced care). This course applies to hikers, campers, backpackers, hunters, etc to be prepared for most first aid issues in that setting using materials normally carried or easily obtained in those remote settings.

A prerequisite to this course is to have current CPR certification (being offered at IFGA on 13 Jan).
