At the November 3rd members’ meeting we will hold a vote to update the club’s by-laws. It is important that all members are aware of and participate in this process.
The draft by laws are being distributed via email. We are also holding a information session on October 8th from 6-7 PM.
In 2022 the club revised the by-laws. This revision updated the language of the document but did not make any structural changes.
Over the past year the Legal Committee has been conducting a review of the by-laws including discussions with subject matter experts familiar with sportsman’s clubs.
The Board of Directors has approved the draft by-laws resulting from this process. This document aims to preserve the core principles of the IFGA while making some important structural changes to better reflect how we operate as an organization.
